Monoblok®, is an Istanbul based interior design studio established in Galata in 2013, by Architect Reyhan Yılmaz and Interior Architect Selami Yılmaz. Monoblok provides interior design services including concept, project, design&build and fit-out services along with bespoke products for clients and project basis.

We fuse the data from the context with user experience to create contemporary , functional and sophisticated interior atmospheres.

Reyhan Yılmaz | Architect – Founding Partner

She graduated from Yildiz Technical University department of Architecture. Started her career working in Neo Design & Application Architecture Company while she was studying in Yildiz Technical University Building Physics Master class . Between 2008-2013, she got involved in architectural design and project deparment, working mostly on large scale residential projects like Nish Istanbul, Onaltı Dokuz Istanbul, Pruve 34 and Yalı Ataköy at Alpar Architecture Company.


Selami Yılmaz | Interior Architect – Founding Partner / Lecturer

He graduated from Karadeniz Technical University deparment of Interior Architecture. Started his career working in Zoom Tpu as a interior architect; mostly on commercial projects. Between 2008/2010 he studied Istanbul Technical University International Master of Interior Architectural Design (IMIAD). During IMIAD program in 2009, he has been accepted to Stuttgart Hochschule Fur Technik. In 2010 he has attended to Finland Lahti University of Applied Science  IMIAD furniture workshop. During IMIAD program, he had continued his career in Alpar Architecture Company. Between 2010-2012, he accomplished  2 “Bosphorus Yali s” in Istanbul-Kurucesme from design to application. Throughout his career, he got several awards in design competitions. He is a part-time instructor giving lectures at Istanbul Kultur University Interior Design Department beside his career in Monoblok.
